Save on Attractions with the Go San Francisco Card

If you're visiting San Francisco, the Go San Francisco Card offers a great way to save money if you plan to visit multiple attractions.

There are several Go Cards to choose from with different lengths of validity:

• Build Your Own Pass and Package Deals: 30 days.
• All-Inclusive Pass: The number of days you bought the pass for. We offer a variety of durations, from 1 to 7 days.
• Explorer Pass: 30 days.

I was fortunate to receive two Go San Francisco Cards, All-Inclusive 1 Day Passes, which allowed us to visit as many of the 27 participating attractions in a single day as we wanted. 

Attractions include:

• Aquarium of the Bay
• California Academy of Sciences
• Exploratorium
• Madame Tussauds
• Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

If you have a single day pass, it's important to map out where you want to visit, figure out how much time you'll spend at each attraction, and calculate the costs to find out how you could save the most money.

The Go San Francisco Card makes it easy for you to find out what attractions are near each other simply by clicking on the Location of a desired attraction.  A map will pop up advising you of other nearby attractions.

If you're spending a day at or near Pier 39, you could go to the Aquarium of the Bay ($24.95), Madame Tussauds ($27), Ripley's Believe It or Not! ($22) and/or the San Francisco Dungeon (27) all in a single day.  That's a savings of almost $36!  You could save even more if you have more time (and energy!) to spare.

You can get a digital Go City Card sent to your mobile device and use it with the free Go City Card app, or print your pass at home.  Simply show your card at the ticket office of the first you attraction you want to visit to activate the card.
