Hula Grill Waikiki

Hula Grill Waikiki is one of my favorite restaurants in Waikiki.  I've enjoyed breakfast, brunch, and dinner there, and on our most recent visit, we once again dined for brunch.

Fried Rice Fo' Days

Mickey Mouse Chocolate Chip Pancake with Bacon

Kimo's Original Hula Pie
I had the Fried Rice Fo' Days.  Two eggs topped a bowl full of fried rice.  The fried rice included bacon, Portuguese sausage, peas, and carrots.  Although I liked the fried rice, I had better elsewhere, but it was very filling.

My husband liked the Croissant French Toast - a La Tour croissant topped with bacon and mango.

Each of my kids ordered the Mickey Mouse Chocolate Chip Pancake with Bacon.

We couldn't leave with indulging in some Hula Pie! Kona Coffee was the special flavor of the month, but since I knew my kids wouldn't like the coffee flavor, we stuck to the original, which was fine by me. The Hula Pie is so good!!

In terms of service, things did not start off so well.  After being seated, we waited 9 minutes until our server greeted us.  Nine minutes!  My husband wondered if we were forgotten about, and I was ready to get up and look for assistance before our server finally came.

Fortunately, despite the rough start, service turned around for the rest of our meal, and our server was attentive and very friendly.

We had another nice meal at Hula Grill, and I'm looking forward to returning soon!
