Breakfast at Kalapawai Cafe & Deli - Kapolei

I was excited when Kalapawai Cafe & Deli opened in Kapolei several months ago.

I enjoyed lunch there, and I was eager to try breakfast, since I'm such a huge fan of all things breakfast.

Breakfast Burrito

Lox & Bagel

The Breakfast Burrito was stuffed with kalua pork, egg, cheese, hash browns, and black beans.  The kalua pork was tasty, but all the beans and hash browns made it taste a little dry.  Fortunately it came with a very good salsa, which I poured all over the burrito.  I love hash browns, so although the burrito was already stuffed with hash browns, I opted for it as a side as well (tossed greens is also an option).

The Biscuits & Gravy looked amazing, but my friend said the gravy was just a tad underseasoned.

The Lox & Bagel looked very yummy as well.

Service was prompt and friendly at Kalapawai Cafe & Deli, and it's definitely a nice spot for breakfast or lunch!
