These Pecan Praline Blondies are a great way to use up pantry items.
With just a few basic ingredients you most likely have on hand, you can whip up a batch of these tasty blondies.
The original recipe calls for heating the butter and brown sugar on the stovetop, but being the impatient person that I am, I just heated the butter and brown sugar in the microwave.
The end result was a sweet, chewy, nutty blondie. Easy and delicious!
Pecan Praline Blondies
Ingredients:
- 1 c butter
- 2 c brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 t vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 c all purpose flour
- 2 t baking powder
- 2 c coarsely chopped pecans
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, heat butter and brown sugar on high for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds.
- Cool for about 5 minutes, then add in egg and vanilla.
- Mix in flour, baking powder and salt.
- Fold in pecans.
- Pour batter into parchment-lined 9x13 pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
