Sweets from Bakery & Table

Both Nat & Nadia have blogged about Bakery & Table and have mentioned the irresistible pastries.  I have yet to dine there, but thanks to Nat, our family was able to enjoy some of the pastries!

My kids went straight for anything with chocolate!  They devoured the croissant x donut (which is labeled as the well-known term that is actually trademarked) and loved the Chocolate Stick.  I cut the Chocolate Stick into several pieces so I could have a taste - it was yummy!  The chocolate was creamy, and the bread was nice and soft.

Everything was in fact delicious - the brioche was buttery, the croissant was light and flaky, and I loved the cookie layer atop the melon pan!
