I was skeptical at first - a sushi burrito? I was not sold on the whole sushi + burrito concept. But I've been trying to live by the motto "it doesn't hurt to try things once", so when my friend suggested it for lunch one day, I decided to try it.
Hand it to the cashier, pay for your food, and wait for your name to be called.
Rolls, whether you dine in or order it to-go are served like this:
Rolls are pre-cut, and all you have to do is peel back the white paper, pour on your dressing, and enjoy.
My friend ordered the Aioli chicken....
and I ordered the teriyaki chicken, which I really enjoyed.
These rolls were $9.25 each, which sounds expensive for a sushi roll, but it's actually a decent sized portion of rice, protein and veggies. The portion and taste exceeded my expectations and I will definitely return to try the other rolls on the menu.
