Visit Tokyo: Tokyo Leisureland

Tokyo Leisureland is an amuseument facility with several locations throughout Tokyo.

We passed numerous Tokyo Leisureland venues during our time in Tokyo, and although we rarely take the kids to arcades at home in Hawaii, it was hard not stepping into the enormous Tokyo Leisureland while we were in Palette Town in Odaiba, as hundreds of games and attractions and their lights and sounds beckoned.

The kids played a few games, and although some of them were difficult to play because the instructions were in Japanese, they still had a lot of fun!

In addition to typical arcade games, there are rows and rows of claw crane games, a batting cage, a haunted house, and even a fishing game with live fish!

There's also a Ninja Trick House.  For a fee, my husband and kids went into the trick house, where they threw ninja stars at targets and navigated obstacles (he said it wasn't worth the money).

There were so many cool games and attractions at Tokyo Leisureland.  My kids could've spent hours and hours there, but we didn't want to spend all of our yen on video games!
