Matcha Love, creators of the first ready to drink unsweetened green tea, have five retail locations nationwide. Their location inside the Mitsuwa Market in the International Market Place is their first Hawaii location.
There are many choices for soft serve in Waikiki, but what drew me to Matcha Love is their black sesame flavor. I have not seen it offered anywhere else. I ordered a small size in a cup for my daughter and after one bite, I got one for myself. The soft serve is thick and creamy and the black sesame flavor is really delicious. My son got the flavor of the month, mango which was yummy as well, but on the sweeter side. They offer samples, so be sure to ask for one to help you decide.
Matcha Love also offers bubble shakes made with soft serve, matcha iced teas and lattes, as well as the matcha love brand premium hot teas. They are open daily from 11-9:30pm and offer a rewards card program.
