Rai Rai Ramen

A lot of my favorite ramen-yas in Hawaii have come and gone over the years - Taishoken, Kiwami, and most recently Yotteko-Ya.  But there's one ramen-ya on my all time favorites list that is still around - Rai Rai Ramen in Kailua.

My favorite thing to order here is the mini ramen set, which mini sized ramen and four pieces of gyoza - it is the perfect amount of food for a meal.

The hubby likes their chicken katsu curry, which comes with a generous portion of chicken katsu covered with Japanese-style curry, and a large serving of rice.

Our twin toddlers like the shoyu ramen. We ask for it "plain" because they don't like the toppings (green onions, fishcake, etc.).
