Visit New York: PN Wood Fired Pizza

While in New York we had some delicious pizza at PN Wood Fired Pizza.

PN stands for Pecore Nere, or Black Sheep.  They use only organic flours imported from Italy, and you can select the type of crust you want made from a variety of four different flours.

Salamino

Margherita
The Salamino pizza was basically a Margherita Pizza (tomato pulp, mozzarella, basil), but with nitrate-free spicy salame.

The adults ate the Salamino on an Einkorn crust (extra charge).  The Einkorn gave the pizza a slightly sweet, nutty flavor.  The crust was perfectly cooked, and the pizza was absolutely delicious.  The salami added a nice spiciness to the pizza.

The kids ate up the Margherita Pizza, which we ordered on an Organic Stone Ground crust, which is the basic type of crust offered at PN Wood Fired Pizza.

Service was helpful and friendly, and I'd definitely dine there again to try out more pizzas and different types of crusts!
