A New (Old) Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

In my never-ending quest to find "the" chocolate chip cookie recipe - the recipe that is the perfect combination of crispy and chewy, and of course, chocolaty, I decided to try a recipe I found in an old cookbook from 1985.

I thought the cookies turned out great, but not as chewy as I usually like them, and my middle son commented that there weren't enough chocolate chips (most recipes I use ask for 2 cups of chocolate chips vs 1).

Although my research continues to find "the one," I'm sure my family will be happy to always try the end results!
