Visit Boston: Boston Duck Tours

My SIL mentioned many times how the Boston Duck Tours is a must-do, so when we visited, she and her SO planned a day where we could all go on the Boston Duck Tour together.

There are three different pick-up locations for the tour, and we were picked up at the Prudential Center location.

There are several different tours throughout the day, and when it was time for our tour, we boarded the "DUCK," a WWII-style amphibious landing vehicle, found our assigned seats, and off we went!  We saw so many popular and historical sights, and I enjoyed admiring all of the architecture and learning all about the city.

After an hour, it was time for "Splashdown," during which time the vehicle goes into the water! We cruised the Charles River, and kids are given the opportunity to steer the boat!

After about 20 minutes or so in the water, we toured a little more of the city until we got back to the Prudential Center to disembark.

The tour lasts approximately 80 minutes.  We had a fantastic "conDUCKtor" who told lots of jokes in addition to a lot of interesting facts about the city and its history.
It was a great tour with the family!
