The Best of Hawaii's Best Kitchens 2017 Event

If you're a foodie on Instagram, then I'm sure you've heard of @HawaiisBestKitchens. This popular Instagram account shares mouth-watering photos from restaurants all across the state, and the brainchild behind the account, Darrell Chock, celebrated 100,000 followers with The Best of Hawaii's Best Kitchens 2017 event at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa on Saturday.

Guests were able to sample a variety of dishes from some of the most popular venues throughout the island:

Best Italian: Arancino Ristorante Italiano-- Rigatoni all' Amatriciana

Best Burgers: Burgers & Things-- Doe A Deer Sliders

Best Korean: DB Grill-- Braised Pork Belly with black sesame miso on a bao bun

Best Steak: d.k Steak House-- Classically aged King Natural Rib Eye steak

Best New Restaurants: Herringbone Waikiki-- Oysters on a half shell

Best New Restaurants: Stripsteak Waikiki-- Lobster Taco
