One of the restaurants my husband had on our Indiana itinerary was
BRU Burger Bar. This family-friendly chain, which pays homage to the classic burger, currently has six locations throughout the US, and we dined at the Indianapolis location for dinner one evening.
We started off with the Triple Dip. Whipped goat cheese with Peppadew pepper jam, edamame hummus with pine nuts, and guacamole were accompanied by grilled naan bread.

I'm not usually a goat cheese fan, but with the pepper jam, it turned out to be my fave of the trio of dips! All of the dips were just delicious!
For my meal, I ordered the BRU Hot Chicken.

I loved it! It had the right amount of heat - not too overpowering, but simply a lot of spice! Meals do not come with a side, so I ordered some Onion Rings. They were huge, and some of the best I ever had!
My husband devoured the Honey Chipotle BBQ Burger, which consisted of bacon, caramelized onions, white cheddar, an onion ring, bbq pulled pork, and black pepper mayo.

Kids meals are just $6 and include a drink and side! Each of my kids chose the Macaroni & Cheese, but they all opted for different sides - Fresh Fruit, Onion Rings, and Fries (also offered as sides are Slaw and Basil Pasta Salad).
BRU Burger Bar sure gives a lot of food! Only my oldest son finished off his entire meal!
Service was great during our dinner.
If you're visiting
Indy with the family, BRU Burger Bar is definitely a great spot to dine at!
