Applebee's Grill & Bar - Pearlridge

Applebee's Grill & Bar has been popping up all over the island, and the most recent location opened up at Pearlridge.

To start, we ordered the Build-Your-Own-Sampler with 3 choices.

I thought all of the appetizers were good, with my fave being the shrimp - it had a nice amount of spice.  

Four Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders

Southwestern Steak Salad

Cedar Salmon with Maple Mustard Glaze

I ordered the Mac & Cheese with Chicken.  I thought it was a nice, comforting dish, and I really liked how the bacon added some smokiness to the mac & cheese.  The chicken was crispy and flavorful.

The Southwestern Steak Salad had too much dressing, and the steak, although sliced, could have been presented better on the plate.

The new restaurant is very nice, and although the food was good, I would wait a while before going again.  We went on the grand opening day, and it was obvious that there are still numerous kinks to still be worked out.
