I couldn't wait to dig in to everything we ordered - many of which are Kentucky staples!
Pimento Beer Cheese & Chips |
Catfish Platter |
Smokehouse Sampler |
Grilled Cheese |
Side Supper |
Side Supper |
I had the Catfish Platter, which also included Hushpuppies & Pickled Vegetables. The catfish was fantastic - seasoned perfectly and just so tender & flaky. Everything on that platter was delish!
My husband had the Smokehouse Sampler, which consisted of Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, and Ribs (can opt for Chicken instead of Ribs). He loved everything on his plate as well.
Kids meals are just $6! The Side Supper includes any two sides (my sons chose Mashed Potatoes and Mac'n'Cheese; French Fries and Mac'n'Cheese).
Derby Pie |
Wilbur Sundae |
We ordered two desserts because I just had to try the Wilbur Sundae, as well as the traditional Derby Pie. The Wilbur Sundae included cinnamon pork rinds and brown butter praline ice cream sprinkled with candied bacon. I was pleasantly surprised with how yummy the combo was!
I really liked the Derby Pie a lot more though. It was so smooth and chocolaty!
I loved everything about Doc Crow's - the food, the service, the ambience.
It's definitely a must-visit if you're in Louisville!
