Morimoto Asia Waikiki Grand Opening

Last night I had the privilege of attending a private event to celebrate the Grand Opening of Morimoto Asia Waikiki, which opens to the public on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Alohilani  Resort Waikiki Beach.



We were treated to hors d'oeuvres and refreshments prior to the start of the program.

Longest sushi roll ever...




After the sushi demonstration, we headed to the actual restaurant on the second floor.  The view from the balcony was amazing ..


We were treated to more cocktails...


and a lion dance to bring prosperity and good luck!


Finally, what we were all waiting for - the food!
































 We all received a goody bag of Nian Gao at the end of the evening.
