Kaimuki Cafe

Are you mourning the closure of Cafe Laufer in Kaimuki? Well, wipe away those tears, because the cafe has re-opened, under a new name and new owner. It's now called Kaimuki Cafe, and it's chef/owner is Melvin Avecilla is offering basically the same menu items and tantalizing desserts and pastries that Cafe Laufer was known for.

Such as the Chinese Chicken Salad ...

and panna cotta.
