Sorry folks, you can't get these decadent donuts just yet. But here's a sneak peak of what's to come from Purvé Donut Shop, which owned and operated by Briton Zablan and Nick Cornford.
Purvé is located at the newly renovated Iolani Center at 1234 Kona Street, which was originally entirely a clothing factory. The owners of the clothing factory reduced the size of the factory and subdivided it into a handful of smaller units, one of which is occupied by Purvé.
Purvé will specialize in made-to-order hand-decorated cake donuts.
Imagine hot, fresh, moist cake donuts topped with your favorite flavored icings and toppings like crushed oreos, bacon, sprinkles, chocolate chips, KitKat bars, and various cereals.
In case you were wondering what their signature donut is going to be ...
it is the Mint and Oreo.
But IMHO, the S'mores may give the Mint and Oreo some competition ....
They're even experimenting with a matcha glaze which is amazing - not too sweet and not too intense.
Purvé will also feature Kai Coffee, which I am truly excited about, because nothing goes better with donuts than high quality coffee.
Follow Purvé on Instagram to see what they're up to, because you DONUT want to miss their grand opening, which is coming soon!
