Chef Roy Yamaguchi continued his 30th Anniversary Hawaii Food Tour with yesterday's Fire and Rice Event at
Eating House 1849 in Kapolei.
We were invited to this family-friendly event, which celebrated the 150th Anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants (proceeds from the event went towards the Bishop Museum and the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i).
There were keiki activity stations, cotton candy, Kona Ice, cocktails, and of course, great food!
