Chocolate Chip Cookies

My never-ending quest to find a favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe had me turning to Betty Crocker.

I found a recipe online and decided to give it a try.

They were good! They were crispy on the outside, and chewy on the inside - just the way I like them.  My kids loved them too.

I'm still on the lookout for THE recipe, however...

Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

• 3/4 c sugar
• 3/4 c packed brown sugar
• 1 c butter, softened
• 1 t vanilla
• 1 egg
• 2 1/4 c flour
• 1 t baking soda
• 1/2 t salt
• 1 c chopped nuts
• 2 c chocolate chips

Directions:

• Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
• Mix together the sugars, butter, vanilla, and egg.
• Stir in flour, baking soda and salt.
• Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
• Roll dough into balls and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
