I recently met a friend for lunch at Vein at Kaka`ako.

I had the Portabello Mushroom Sandwich.  It had a tasty parsley aioli with huge slices of mushroom.  It was quite a filling sandwich.

My friend enjoyed the Braised Short Rib Burger, and I couldn't stop eating the fries!

For dessert only gelato was offered, but three scoops are in a single serving!

It was a good lunch, and I can't wait to try out dinner!
