Rebel Donut has won numerous awards and accolades, so we made sure to stop by while we were in Albuquerque.

Red Chile Chocolate Bacon

I had the Red Chile Chocolate Bacon, which consisted of a chocolate cake donut dipped in fudge icing, and topped with bacon and New Mexico red chile.  It wasn't spicy, but it was so delicious!  Loved the sweet & salty combo!

All of Rebel Donut's confections are made by hand.  If you are a donut-lover or simply want a sweet treat, definitely make a stop at Rebel Donuts while in Albuquerque!
