Our family recently experienced an amazing, relaxing weekend at the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay.
With idyllic views of the Pacific Ocean, including the perfect spots to watch the sunset, and an abundance of amenities, the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay is a great place for families to unwind and create new memories.
We were fortunate to stay in an Ohana Suite. Not only does this suite provide ample room for families with a large living room with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom with a king bed, but you'll find two bathrooms!
No fighting over seating and sleeping space or the bathroom!
The decor was inviting with colorful artwork by renowned designer Sig Zane that seamlessly fit in with the natural surroundings.
The beds were dreamy, with plush pillows and duvets, and the bathroom was equipped with a rainforest shower with a handheld showerhead.
I appreciated the warm, welcoming touches, such as the plumeria placed throughout the room and the flower-shaped towels.
Two separate balconies opened up to spectacular views of Keauhou Bay. It was so nice to simply sit on the lanai and relax.
We had prime viewing of the sunset from our lanai, and at night we could watch all the manta ray tour boats (and we even saw some manta rays jumping out of the water as well!).
Another huge plus of the Ohana Suite is having access to the Kaiulu Club Lounge, which provides guests with breakfast and evening appetizers and drinks.
If you don't have access to the Kaiulu Club Lounge, there are still other dining options on property (click here to read my review on Rays on the Bay), and even a market where you can pick up grab-and-go eats.
At Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay, you'll also find a spa, a fitness center, a basketball court, and a sand volleyball court!
And of course, you can't forget about the pools!
A huge oceanfront pool that winds itself throughout the property, complete with slides and a children's pool area, provided hours and hours of fun for the kiddos.
They loved getting complimentary poolside treats throughout the day, such as smoothies, pineapple slices, and ice pops!
There's even a keiki club and a game area near the pool where kids can play table tennis or oversized chess!
Other amenities and services you'll have access to with the daily resort fee include use of a trolley that takes guests to various spots in Kailua-Kona, cultural activities, guided tours, unlimited use of resort binoculars for island sightseeing, and more!
One of my favorite things about Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay is just how gorgeous the surroundings are. It's picturesque everywhere you turn! There are numerous spots throughout the property where you can simply sit and take in the views, or stroll the path along the bay and you'll be treated to an abundance of #nofilter shots!
Our family had a fabulous stay at the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay. It is definitely one of my favorite hotels on the island of Hawaii, and I look forward to returning again with the family!
