Noe at Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina

After my first visit to Noe at Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina with the family, I noted I couldn't wait to return for a date night with the hubby.  And I finally returned for date night!

The complimentary Focaccia was so good, I had to prevent myself from eating all of it before my entree was served!

The Caprese was delish, and the Noe Signature Tagliatelle was absolutely amazing.  It's no wonder it's the signature dish - served with mushrooms and truffles, it was one of the the best pastas I've ever eaten.  I ordered the small portion, but after one bite, I was wishing I ordered the larger portion!

The Passion Chocolate, a chocolate flourless cake with passion fruit cream, caramelized cocoa nibs, and strawberry sorbet, was on the special Valentine's Day Menu that was still being offered, and it was rich and decadent.  I ate nearly the entire dessert all by myself!

My husband ordered Chef Ryo Takatsuka's 4-Course Tasting Menu.  The featured dishes vary, and on this evening the menu consisted of:

Ahi Tuna

Maccheroni Neri

Beef Filet

Plus a dessert of choice:

Creme Fraiche Semifreddo

He chose the Creme Fraiche Semifreddo, which was topped with a black pepper strawberry sauce.  It was highly recommended by two servers, and it did not disappoint.

With the exception of our server getting tied up with a large party at one point during the dinner, service was excellent.  Noe is definitely one of my favorite restaurants on the island, and this dinner experience was one of the best I've had.
