Visit Auckland: Little 'Lato

At the Auckland fish Market, we were searching for a dessert spot, and fortunately Little 'Lato was a vendor offering their hand-crafted gelato.  Made with fresh milk and cream and premium chocolate, we couldn't wait to dig in!

Chocolate Fish + Chocolate Sorbet

Two of my kids ordered Chocolate Fish.  Chocolate Fish is a popular candy in New Zealand, but my boys said they had no pieces of chocolate fish in their gelato, so they were a bit disappointed (I did see chocolate fish atop the gelato in the display case, but I couldn't tell if there were pieces actually mixed in the gelato).

The Chocolate Sorbet was a 2018 Silver Award-winning product at the New Zealand Ice Cream Awards.

Despite the disappointment about the Chocolate Fish, the gelato was satisfying and yummy!
