Visit Sydney - Featherdale Wildlife Park

When I saw a picture of Crystal visiting Featherdale Wildlife Park on her honeymoon adventures to Australia, I knew it was a must see for me.  Since she highly recommended the mammal experience, I pretty much planned our entire itinerary around the wildlife park.

The park is about an hour and 45 minutes away by train and bus.  You can secure your reservations for the mammal experience online and the fee for the experience also includes admission into the park.  As we checked in at the ticket window, we purchased some food to feed the kangaroos around the park.

The park is small and you can really get up close with the animals.  We spent the bulk of our time hanging out with the kangaroos.  We loved feeding them.  We also decided to purchase the koala experience which allowed us to touch and stand next to a koala for a picture.  The experience was super quick, but I loved every second.

We lucked out during our mammal experience as we were the only ones booked for it.  We got to hold three mammals: a quokka, a possum, and a sugar glider.  It was definitely a highlight of our trip and would recommend to any animal lover.

The park is really hands-on!
Our koala experience included printed photos and a digital file.
Cade loved this cute little quokka.

During the mammal experience, we got to hold a sugar glider.
