Even though our hotel in Sydney provided us with a complimentary breakfast, I couldn’t resist looking for a nearby donut shop. I was super lucky to find Shortstop Coffee and Donuts - a local bakery that makes their donuts fresh and onsite throughout the day using quality and natural ingredients.
I studied their Instagram page before we arrived and knew I was going to get the maple walnut and brown butter. They offer up a lot of amazing flavors. One that particularly caught my eye was a New Orleans iced coffee cruller. Yum!
I paired my donut with an espresso and asked for an extra water for my son. It slipped my mind that it would be a sparkling water that is commonly served with espresso which of course he did not like. Even with no still water available, I would definitely recommend a stop here if you are craving something sweet! You can even preorder their donuts online.
