Favorites Return Along with New Menu Items at Mariposa at Neiman Marcus Hawaii

A few months ago I went to Mariposa at Neiman Marcus for lunch, and everything I tried was so delicious - I couldn't wait to return!

Imagine how excited I was when the PR department reached out to Hawaii Mom Blog to try out the new menu items!

Texas Cooler - very refreshing!

A few new menu items are on the menu, including dishes that were brought back due to popular demand.  The Asparagus "Fries" is one such dish that was brought back to the delight of many (one friend texted me as soon as she saw the post on my IG story!).

Asparagus is coated in Parmesan and herbs and served with a honey mustard aioli. 

Hurricane Seasoned Fries

I've had the Hurricane Seasoned Fries before, and they were just as addicting as the first time I tried it.  I've had similar styles of fries where the furikake and seasonings were just too overpowering, but these fries are seasoned perfectly!

Seared Diver Scallops

Another dish that has made its way back to the menu at Mariposa is the Seared Diver Scallops. 

After the first bite, I could taste why - tender, golden scallops were served atop a bed of a delightful yuzu and sweet pea risotto, along with mushrooms and a fire roasted Kamuela tomato salsa.

I would've been happy just eating the risotto itself, but add the scallops, and it was simply one of the best dishes I've eaten all year. 

New to the menu is the Adobo Style Baby Back Ribs.

The sticky, sweet, yet savory ribs were so tasty.  It was served with pandan fried rice.

Despite how full I was, I didn't dare turn down dessert!

And I'm so glad I didn't, because I was able to try out two amazing sweets:

Butterscotch Macadamia Pie

The Butterscotch Macadamia Pie was heavenly!  I love butterscotch, and the coconut praline added such a nice texture to this dessert, which has been on the menu since opening.

Frozen Lilikoi Souffle

The Frozen Lilikoi Souffle was so pretty, and very refreshing! 

I will definitely be back to try more new menu items, as well as the new Happy Hour!
