I'm usually at
Scratch Kitchen & Meatery prior to the brunch menu starting (at 10:30am), but I needed to try the Jimmy-chan-ga on the brunch menu - Scratch's take on a chimichanga. I order chimichangas whenever I go to Mexican restaurants so I knew I was in for a treat!

Jimmy-chan-ga |
A tortilla was stuffed with carnitas, cheese, and potatoes and deep fried, and topped with house queso and pico. It was accompanied by bacon-braised beans and a sunny egg.
It did not disappoint! It was so tasty, and just full of flavor.

BC Burger |
My husband ordered the BC Burger - a beef patty topped with a fried egg, smoked bacon, spiced tater tots, won bok kim cheese, and a spicy aioli.
I am terribly sad that the
Haupia Creme Brulee French Toast is no longer on the menu (although I was told it is offered on Sundays), but I'm hoping it makes a comeback!
