Complimentary tickets were provided by our sponsor. All opinions are my own.
The 57th annual Hawaii State Farm Fair took place at Kualoa Ranch this past weekend. We've been taking the boys to this event for the past 3 years and they have a blast every time.
Last year we missed out on the $5 mini movie tour because by the time we knew there was a tour, the tickets were sold out. So this year we bought our tickets right when we got there so that we wouldn't miss out on the opportunity to go on the movie tour at a substantial discount.
Since we had a few hours until our tour, we made our way around the fair grounds. First up - the static displays of construction equipment.
The boys got hungry, so we bought some food from the Kualoa Ranch food stand.
Lines were long but worth the wait!
After fueling up with food, we headed to the Keiki Farm Hands barn for hands-on fun!
The boys really enjoyed getting to plant a green bean seed and taking it home.
Then off to the "Buy Local It Matters" Pavilion to shop for local products...
The boys really liked the Hawaii Department of Agriculture exhibit!
Then off to the Livestock Tent to visit the animals.
It was finally tie for our Movie Site Tour - I definitely recommend it! $5 per person for a guided tour of the locations where a lot of famous movie scenes were shot.
Before heading home, we stopped at the plant sale and bought a couple of plants for the boys to plant in our yard.
Until next year!
