Airport Eats: Tortas Frontera by Rick Bayless at O'Hare International Airport


During our stopover at O'Hare International Airport, we dined at Tortas Frontera by Rick Bayless for breakfast.

The Egg & Bacon Torta was quite spicy, and was also stuffed with beans, avocado, and chipotle.

The Cazuela - eggs with roasted sweet potatoes, black beans, cheese, poblanos, arugula, cilantro, red onions, tortilla strips, avocado, and meat - was hearty and flavorful.  I personally thought it was way too much food and spice for a meal first thing in the morning (and I like spice).  I probably would've devoured it during lunch or dinner, but it was really tasty.

Tortas Frontera was a great stop for breakfast at O'Hare!
