Merriman's Honolulu Celebrates One Year Anniversary

It's been a year since Merriman's opened up in Honolulu, and to celebrate, guests can indulge in a Lu`au Platter, which is available now through July 4 for $48 ($10 from each platter goes to Hawai`i Community Foundation). The platter includes:

•Complimentary Mini Mai Tais⁣⁣
•Taro Rolls, Sun Dried Pineapple⁣⁣
•Lomi Lomi Tomato⁣⁣
•Spicy Poke⁣⁣
•Opakapaka & Lobster Lau Lau⁣⁣
•Tako Lu`au⁣⁣
•Bag of Poi Fritters⁣⁣
•Roast Suckling Pig⁣⁣
•Molokai Sweet Potato Puree⁣⁣

It is quite a feast!

You can also enjoy classic Merriman's dishes from the regular dinner menu.

The Tako & Country Bread is so delish! The octopus is pressure-cooked so it is very tender, and the cognac garlic butter is just amazing. I could just dip the country bread in that divine butter and be happy with that for my meal.

The Cast Iron Organic Chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned and cooked.

Of course I could not leave without dessert.

The Bread Pudding is my favorite dessert at Merriman's. Made with Maui Gold Pineapple, Macadamia Nuts, and a Rum Butter Sauce - it has the perfect combination of textures and flavors.

I tried the Flourless Chocolate Cake, and it was rich and decadent. So yummy!

Congratulations to Merriman's on one year!
