When I first heard the name of this restaurant - No Name BBQ Sandwich, I thought it was a Texas BBQ type of joint, but it's actually a Vietnamese business. Either way, I was down to check it out, especially when I was told they were offering 20% off purchases of $10 or more.
It's a small, cute, casual eatery operated by two people. As the name suggests, the menu is comprised predominantly of Vietnamese sandwiches, with one non-sandwich item on the menu - spring rolls.
I had to order the spring rolls, not just to make the minimum purchase to get the 20% off, but also because I love spring rolls. They came out piping hot and super crispy.
I ordered the roasted chicken sandwich which came with cheese, fresh cucumber, sweet onion, cilantro, and pickled carrot/dikon.
What I really liked about the sandwich, in addition to the taste, was the bread! It was served warm and while many baguettes shred the skin from the roof of my mouth, this one did not at all.
If you are short on time, I suggest scoping out the menu on Yelp and calling in your order ahead of time to reduce your wait time.
