Visit Hilo: Kuhio Grille

On a recent trip to Hilo, I finally got to try Kuhio Grille.

KG Omelette

Corned Beef Hash Loco Moco

I ordered the KG Omelette - a bacon, mushroom, and cheese omelette smothered with gravy.  I also subbed Fried Rice for extra.

The portion size was enormous, and needless to say I couldn't finish the omelette, but it was so good.  All of my favorites were stuffed in the omelette, and all of that gravy...my kind of breakfast!

The restaurant was busy, and service was somewhat slow, but I thought Kuhio Grille was a great spot for a hearty breakfast.
