Core Power Yoga Now in Kapolei

Brand new studio!

I went to a Core Power yoga class at Ward years ago, but remembered liking it so I decided to try out a class at the new Kapolei studio.  The studio is located right across from Ruby Tuesday and next to Genki Sushi.

Since I was already in the system, I couldn’t take advantage of all the new customer promotions they are running which included a free week of classes.  I paid the drop in fee of $28 and registered for the Yoga Sculpt class which is described as combining “free weights with CorePower Yoga 2 sequencing and cardio to intensify each pose while mixing in strength-training moves like squats, lunges and bicep curls.”

The instructor was awesome and I got a really great workout.  I loved it, but couldn’t handle the heat.  The room was set at 95 degrees with no added humidity.  Benefits of the added heat are stretching your muscles and detoxing your skin.

All Hawaii Core Power Yoga locations have showers.  They also sell water and rent mats and towels.  You can check out their website at www.corepoweryoga.com for class schedules.

Retail section.
