Despite dining and attending events at the The Kahala Hotel & Resort, I never stayed there until earlier this month for a (too) quick family staycation.
The luxurious grand lobby hints at the lavish experience you'll immerse yourself in while staying at The Kahala Hotel & Resort - a 338-room property complete with a pool, waterfall, and a lagoon, which a few Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins call home.
After a warm welcome which included a lei greeting and cool oshibori, we were directed to our suite.
Our family stayed in the spacious Scenic View Suite, which had a separate living room and a large lanai. The suite was tastefully decorated in the Kahala Chic style, with warm and inviting tones, elegant furniture, and luxurious touches throughout.
A number of in-suite amenities elevated our experience, such as chenille bathrobes, luxury toilertiries, two 42-inch flat screen TVs, a Nespresso Citiz Espresso Maker with Aeroccino Plus Milk Frother, iPhone charging stations, and a DVD player.
Dreamy double beds with the finest linens, along with a convertible sofa sleeper and a rollaway, provided ample sleeping space for our family of five.
Two enormous bathrooms, each with TOTO washlets, two separate vanities, a glass shower with a rain showerhead, a deep-soaking bathtub, large wardrobe closets, and Bvlgari toiletries provided the ultimate in comfort and convenience.
I loved that we had two bathrooms (a MUST for our family of 5)!
From our lanai, we had pretty views of the lush mountains, as well as the sparkling blue ocean.

Speaking of views, I was up early enough in the morning to get snaps of the gorgeous purple- and pink-hued sky.
The suite boasted both tropical fans and air-conditioning, so we always felt comfortable while in the room, despite the ever-lingering summer-temps outdoors.
Other amenities included in the suite were free Wi-Fi, bottled water, mini refrigerators, and a large work desk.
During our too-short staycation, we spent most of our time at the pool.
When we weren't at the pool, we were enjoying delicious foods at The Veranda or at Plumeria Beach House.
And when we weren't at the pool or dining at one of the on-property eateries, we were back in the beautiful suite, relaxing.
I can't believe it took me so long to finally stay at The Kahala Hotel & Resort, but I'm glad I finally experienced the stellar service and luxurious accommodations.
