I went to Tanaka Saimin for the first time to meet a friend who said that the eatery is one of his faves.
I ate my "usual" at saimin spots:
 |
Wun Tun Min, French Fries, Gravy |
I thought the Saimin was okay. The broth seemed undereseasoned. I've had better bowls of saimin elsewhere, but it was a hearty bowl of noodles, wun tun, and garnishes.
 |
Mac-Potato Salad, Shrimp Tempura, Teri Beef |
 |
Wun Tun Min with Bean Sprouts |
My friend ordered the Tanaka Saimin, which includes a large Wun Tun Min, plus Mac-Potato Salad, Shrimp Tempura, and Teri Beef. He added Bean Sprouts for extra.
Even though I ate all the fries and saimin, I still had room for dessert.
 |
Banana Cream Pie |
The Banana Cream Pie was so yummy!
Service was good, the restaurant was busy, and it's a nice spot for comfort food.
