Visit Los Angeles: Oo Kook Korean BBQ

I called one of my college pals to see if he and his family could meet up for dinner, and he suggested we go to the popular K-Town spot Oo Kook Korean BBQ.

It's an all-you-can-eat, cook-your-own-meal restaurant, where you can have your fill of pork, beef, chicken, duck, shrimp, and more.

The meal starts off with a nice selection of banchan and a salad.

I don't eat much meat, but I did try the Marinated Chicken and Miso Pork Belly.  I really liked the chicken.

There are some non-meat options, such as Corn Cheese, Mushrooms and Vegetables, and Steam Eggs (I ate the Corn Cheese practically all by myself!).

The restaurant was quite busy, but the service was good.  Servers come to change out the grill frequently, and they will even help you cook and make sure the food is ready to eat.

It's $29.99 for adults, $15.99 for kids 4-10.  If you eat a lot of meat and come with a huge appetite, you can definitely get your money's worth.
