Over the past year-and-a-half,
Restaurant XO has been evolving, as Chef Kenneth Lee continually changes the menu (every 3 months) to find out what works and what doesn't.
I recently attended a media event to try out some new dishes offered on the new menu that just launched recently.

My favorite dishes from my very first visit are still on the menu (thank goodness!). The Adobo Fried Chicken and Potato Au Gratin are musts.
Of the dishes I've tried for the first time - the Loaded Potato Mochi Gnocchi was really good (loved the spin on a baked potato), and I especially enjoyed the Beet & Pumpkin Roulade (very light; loved the crispy quinoa) and Charred Broccoli (pleasantly surprised with the accompanying Bagoon Bagna Cauda).
The Crispy Rice has seen various iterations, and I loved the contrast with the melt-in-your-mouth foie gras.
The Scotch Egg and Century Egg were both delicious (Chef makes his own Century Egg!), and I also loved the Smoked Trout Roe and Breadshop Brioche.
Other favorites included the Sweet & Sour Char Siu Pork Belly and the Ravioli Gigantes, both of which were full of flavor.

It's always great to see what new dishes Chef Kenneth comes up with!
I highly recommend you go to Restaurant XO with a big group, so you can try everything on the menu and find your own favorites!
