Surf Lanai Breakfast Buffet - Pink Palace Pancakes

A few of my AdStreamz co-workers and I met up at the Surf Lanai at The Royal Hawaiian, to feast on the Breakfast Buffet, which includes an offering of Signature entrees, such as the Pink Palace Pancakes.

The buffet offered a variety of items, such as bacon, eggs, waffles, hash browns, pipikaula spinach breakfast sandwiches, sake marinated salmon, assorted fresh fruit, mini acai cups, and my favorite part of the buffet (besides the bacon) - The Royal Bakery, which included royal banana bread, croissants, and sweet rolls.

I'm all about savories when it comes to breakfast, but the banana bread is a must.  It is so good!

Of course, I did indulge in the signature Pink Palace Pancakes as well.

The guava raspberry pancakes are served with a balsamic strawberry relish and coconut kaffir creme.  It's such a tropical treat!

The Royal Loco Moco

The Royal Loco Moco was delish!  Instead of a typical hamburger patty and gravy, this dish was served with port wine braised beef short ribs that were so amazingly tender and flavorful!

Although it was quite a warm day, the view from our table was just gorgeous.  Service was great, and the Surf Lanai Breakfast Buffet was a nice way to start the week!
