Visit Boston: Emack & Bolios

On our last visit to Boston, I missed out on trying Emack & Bolio's ice cream, but I was determined to not leave Boston on our most recent trip without trying this popular ice cream chain.

The business, named after two homeless men, has roots in music (originally established as a late-night hangout for musicians), and also started the flavored cone craze back in 1980.

We fought our way through a sea of Boston Bruins fans to get to the TD Garden location.

I had the Chocolate Addiction - chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and fudge chunks.  I was in chocolate bliss! 

Next time I'll try one of the flavored cones too!
