Donut King opened its second location in Kailua Town, and I got my hands on their freshly made donuts on opening day!
Their donuts are prepared and cooked fresh on-site, and while their full line up is not available yet, they do have a lot of their popular items, including the maple bacon donut, sprinkle donuts, chocolate covered donuts, glazed twists, and donut holes.
I bought a box for the family - two glazed and two chocolate covered yeast donuts.
There is nothing better than a warm, fluffy yeast donut with glaze.
On opening day, I got there at 6:15 am (they opened at 6 am), and there was already a small line outside. I guess the word had already gotten out that they were opening!
