Ichiriki is Open for Take-Out

Complimentary meal provided by our sponsor. All opinions are my own.

We are currently under the second stay-at-home order here in Hawaii, which means restaurants can only offer take-out, no dining in. Ichiriki is one of the many restaurants that are continuing to operate with take-out only, and better yet, they are currently offering 15% off take out orders through the end of August!

The nabe sets are the way to go, whether you're cooking for your self or with your family. There are three different sets: Lite, Deluxe, and Family.

Regardless of which set you choose, you'll get a generous portion of assorted veggies, choice of meat, choice of broth. rice, and choice of ramen or udon.

You will also receive two different dipping sauces, and a small container of shredded daikon and green onions (for the ponzu sauce).

Cooking your nabe at home is just like at the restaurant. Heat up your broth, and when it starts boiling, start adding your ingredients.

The thinly sliced meats cook the quickest (rib eye, short rib, pork belly), so I usually add those in last and remove before they get overcooked.

The boys love being a part of the cooking process and serving themselves!

I love being able to enjoy my favorite nabe in the comforts of my own home!  This is seriously one of the best take-out options out there, since you're cooking your meal at home and enjoying it straight from the stove!

If you don't have an electric cooker (like the one I used) or a portable burner and pot, don't worry, you can borrow one from Ichiriki ($20 deposit required and will be returned when you return the pot/burner), or you even have the option of having Ichiriki make your nabe for you (available upon request)!

Ichiriki take-out is available from 11 am - 8 pm daily at all 3 locations (Kaneohe, Aiea, Ala Moana).

For locations, menu, and telephone numbers, visit their website at: ichirikinabe.com.
