My youngest son loves soft-boiled eggs, and really - any kind of eggs where the yolk is soft and runny. I'm a pro at making hard-boiled eggs, but I sought the guidance of Chef Brian at Na`au on how to go about making soft-boiled eggs.
Simply temper eggs in hot tap water for 10 minutes, then place in boiling water for 6 minutes, then immediately place in ice cold water.
The result - perfectly soft-boiled eggs!
