Beyond Pastry Studio's Tomato Bread and Kombu Umami Butter

Beyond Pastry Studio has officially launched its Curated Bread and Butter Series with Tomato Bread and Kombu Umami Butter!  For $17, you get one loaf of Tomato Bread made with handpicked tomatoes from Thrive Hawaii Family Farm in Haleiwa, and 3.5 ounces of Kombu Umami Butter.  For only $5 more, you can add another loaf of Tomato Bread, which I highly recommend!

The Tomato Bread in and of itself has a lot of flavor from the fresh tomatoes and herbs mixed into it.

But when I added the Kombu Umami Butter to it, OMG, it was heavenly!

Every good handcrafted loaf of bread deserves high quality butter, and this definitely fits the bill. It is made with kombu, shoyu, garlic, and dashi.

Apparently the leftover butter (if there is any!) can be used with chicken, seafood, steak, fried rice, and potatoes. I'm definitely going to save some of the butter for this!

The next batch of Tomato Bread and Kombu Umami Butter combos will be available November 29 & 30, 2020.  Send an email to order@beyondpastrystudio.com to reserve your combo before they sell out!

I can't wait to see what's going to be coming out of the oven next at Beyond Pastry Studio!
