Mio Pastalogy

Mio Pastalogy has been open for a few weeks now, and I've been here at least three times so far. I love everything about it - from their selection of fresh, housemade pastas to their homemade sauces and toppings. The best part? I have the freedom of creating my own combinations.

For now the restaurant is strictly take-out.  Hot toppings are placed on the pasta, followed by the sauce in a separate container. Dry toppings such as fried garlic are packed separately to prevent it from getting soggy.

On my first visit I tried the linguine with pomodoro sauce and shrimp. It was a challenge combining the sauce and pasta in the bowl provided because the noodles were stuck together, but that's easily solved by heating it up for a few minutes. Taste-wise, this combination was a winner.

Mio Pastalogy also makes fresh housemade breads that are ultra soft and chewy.  And the garlic butter that they offer on the side is a must-try!

Salads are also available grab-n-go style.

Everyday they have a daily special - here's an example of what was on special on my third visit. It's called the "Napolitana" - arabiki, bell pepper, smoked bacon, and mushrooms, with their pomodoro sauce.

I also tried the foccaccia bread on this visit - it was still warm when I got home!

There's more to come from Mio Pastalogy - follow them on Instagram (@miopastalogy) for updates!
