I tried out yet another Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe today. This one called for less flour, butter, and sugar than I normally use in chocolate chip cookie recipes, and although the cookies still turned out good, I'm still in search for "The One."
If you have a favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe, please share!
In the meantime, here is the recipe I used:
Chocolate Chip CookiesIngredients:
Directions:
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 c butter, softened
- 1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
- 6 T sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 c chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour and baking soda.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugars until creamy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla.
- Stir in the flour mixture.
- Add in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-13 minutes.
- Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
