Guieb Cafe - Wahiawa

When I first heard about Guieb Cafe in Kalihi, I had a hunch that I knew who the chef was, and I was right! Chef Ernesto runs Guieb Cafe along with his wife Maria, whom I used to work with.  They recently opened up a second location in Wahiawa, where I picked up lunch from one day.

I had Da Local Omelette, which was stuffed with Portuguese sausage, SPAM, bacon, tomato, white & green onions and cheddar cheese.  It was very tasty and filling!

The Golden Fried Chicken was good, and my kids loved the pancakes.  The OREO Cheesecake Pancakes could've also sufficed for dessert!

I love the new addition to Wahiawa, and how the menu boasts a nice combo of Filipino, local, and comfort food faves.
