Blackened Ahi Tartine
It was great news when Eating House had reopened for dinner this year, but even better news when they began their Sunday Brunch in April. I immediately made a reservation for an early Mother's Day celebration. Now that all the adults were vaccinated, my parents felt comfortable enough to eat at a restaurant. It would be our first time dining together outside our homes for over a year and Eating House's al fresco dining room would make for the perfect setting for our party of 10.
The service at Eating House is excellent and I especially love how they take care of the kids. Immediately upon being seated, we received bowls of edamame, our waters, and the kids were given crayons with the kids' menu to play with. Before we even ordered, the kids were given their appetizers of veggies, fruit, and cheese quesadillas. Not having dined at the restaurant before, my parents were genuinely impressed. Our service was fantastic. Our server was knowledgeable, answered every question we had, patient and friendly.
Sunday Brunch is from 10:30am to 2pm. Reservations can easily be made at Open Table or calling the restaurant at 808-924-1849.
